Colonoscopy is a day surgery procedure performed in hospital. You will receive bowel preparation and instructions at your consultation or after you book in for your colonoscopy. Admission and fasting times are advised by the office at the time of booking. You will need someone to take you home after your colonoscopy and should not drive or work till the following day.
